Interaction of Units

This equation states that when 1 energized unit interacts with another energized unit in the context of time,  space, and environment, there is a resulting change

Biochemistry and biology demands the interaction of units.  Hence when one considers the building of matter, 1 + 1 = 1, 1 + 1 = 2, and 1 + 1 ~ 2 are applicable.  However in biology and in science the structures contain forces, and are moving in time and space, in a given environment, and there is a functional result of the interaction.
